Comfort and safety are our priorities!

 

S/V Spindrift is more than capable of handling anything that Cayuga Lake can throw at her. For the sake of being overly cautious and comfortable we may feel it is necessary to cancel our trip.

Sailing is a weather dependent activity by nature. While we can work with the weather and use it to have a great deal of fun, it can still be an inhibitor at times. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any trip due to inclement weather as we want to make sure that all our customers are happy, healthy, and most importantly, safe.

In the case of inclement weather, we will try to reschedule you. If we cannot, we will refund you, including the reservation deposit.

This policy might be really inconvenient, however, your safety is more important than a boat ride (no matter how fun it might be!). We hope that you will understand this and help us to work with the weather to have the best lake experience we can.
